Birkin, Kelly, Constance, Lindy and Picotin are just a few of the famous fashion names offered in a private Hermès collection which leads Bonhams Luxury Online sale from 25 March to 1 April.
The collection of 15 handbags, carefully massed by an Asian collector over the last ten years, spans from classic Kelly models to rare and exceptional ‘collector-grade’ pieces, such as two smaller-sized Shiny Crocodile Birkin 25 and Birkin 30. All handbags from this collection were purchased directly from Hermès boutiques.

As well as the crocodile examples, there is a Birkin 30 from the limited ‘Candy’ collection of 2012. This bag is constructed from two different coloured leathers- the exterior is red and the interior is a dark blue.
There are other classic pieces that can be considered suitable for everyday use, such as the Constance bag, the So Kelly (a sporty updated version of the classic Kelly bag), the Lindy bag and the Picotin, all of which are highly popular designs.
According to the Knight Frank Luxury Investment Index, prices of Hermès handbags rose by 17% in 2020, topping all categories in the index for the second year in a row.

- Hermès Etoupe Clemence Birkin 35. Estimate: HK$50,000-80,000.
- Hermès : Ultraviolet Swift Constance 23. Estimate: HK$60,000-80,000.
- Hermès : Gris Pearle Clemence So Kelly 22. Estimate: HK$20,000-30,000.
- Hermès : Rose Azelle Swift Lindy 26. Estimate: HK$30,000-50,000.
- Hermès : Bi-Colour Picotin Lock TGM. Estimate: HK$15,000-20,000.
