Who am I? : Maryanne Maina

I am Kenyan, based in Paris, France, Nairobi, Kenya and Lagos, Nigeria – these are some of the countries where I spend a lot of my time.

I did my  MBA in Luxury Brand Management at HEC Paris, School of Management and graduated in 2016.

My career started as a business journalist and in Public Relations in sub-Saharan Africa and I worked and lived in various countries such as Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda etc My client portfolio included banking & financial companies, non-governmental, multilateral institutions, airlines, cement companies, technology and many others. My first degree is in Journalism and International Relations from USIU in Nairobi, Kenya.

I pursued my MBA in Luxury Brand Management due to my passion for Africa and luxury. This was followed by this passion of mine, ly blog, where I share about beautiful products and experiences to the lover of good life.

My blog readers are mostly from: France, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, the UK, US, the rest of the EU and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to blogging, I am also have a Luxury Public Relations Consultancy business and a Lifestyle Services business that provides concierges services globally.

I am a luxury writer for Forbes Afrique and I have contributed to several media inclusive of Luxury Daily, Forbes Afrique, Pluris, Business Daily, Luxuria Lifestyle, etc
